WHO IS DWIGHT THOMPSON:

“Dwight Thompson” born in Cleveland, Ohio grew up with a rich history in music with both parents being members of gospel quartets and a brother that’s a world renowned saxophonist Dwight started singing at age eight by the time he was seventeen he signed a record deal with Atlantic records as a member of the Rude Boys that were groomed by Gerald LeVert after his time with The Rude Boys he went on to sign a solo deal with Uptown records. He has sung background with the likes of Gerald LeVert, Glen Jones, Phil Perry, and Will Downing. Dwight is also an accomplished writer who penned some amazing hits throughout his career, such as Will Downing’s number one hit “Crazy Love”. When asked what his greatest accomplishment to date is, Dwight will answer with two words: “Gordon Park.”

WHO IS ROBERT CRUZ:

’Robert Cruz’’ of Cleveland, Ohio, is a professional singer with a passion for music that began at an early age. He has performed on national stages with national artists since the age of 16. Sung with Cleveland’s own, Rude Boys and has received several Awards. Cruz was inducted and received the National R & B Hall of Fame Award and received the Journey of Mrs. Ernestine Ross tribute 2009 from the Cleveland Woman on the Move, the 2024 Greatest R&B Legends music award, and last but not least is the African American Music Association award for Men who are Fathers. In addition to performing, he’s dedicated to writing music and working with his children and kids in the community, always looking to inspire them to be better in every aspect of life. Now here comes GORDAN PARK, that’s Unmatched Vocally and Musically Talented, and that’s Real School.

WHO IS BLAQ ROSE:

Born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, an incredibly talented musician, singer, songwriter and Platinum Music Producer who started out singing and playing instruments in church. Blaq Rose was signed by “Dr. Dre” to Aftermath Records with his former group Who’z Who. He produced and co-wrote a song entitled “No Second Chance” on the “Dr. Dre presents the Aftermath” album. Blaq Rose also produced and wrote songs for K-Ci & JoJo. Those songs were entitled “Hello Darling’” and “I Wanna Get To Know You” on the “Tell Me It’s Real” album, “Something Inside Of Me” on the “X” album as well as “So Emotional” and “Special” on the “Emotional” album. The record “Special” is featured on K-Ci & JoJo‘s “Greatest Hits” album. All of which went platinum. Blaq Rose had the opportunity to sing background for K-Ci & JoJo and Jodeci. Blaq Rose has been able to work with and/or produce for some of the top names in the music industry. These accolades include Dr. Dre, Krayzie Bone, Jodeci, Anthony Hamilton, Levert, O’Jays, Omarion and Christina Milian just to name a few. He is currently 1/3 of the R&B singing group Levert in which he so graciously replaced the late great Gerald Levert.“Rose” has toured the country with K-CI & JoJo & Jodeci and had the opportunity to tour and sing overseas with the sensational pop artist Anastasia. He also appeared on the Jay Leno Show where he sang background for the amazing Kelly Rowland

In September 2023 Blaq Rose opened up for the phenomenal male R & B group Boyz II Men at the Canfield Fair in Canfield, OH where he put on a 30 minute set for all 6,200 guests.

Blaq Rose had the opportunity to do a tribute for one of the greatest artist, Mr. Glenn Jones in which he performed three of his most famous hits at The National R&B Music Society Gala which was also held in September 2023 in Atlantic City.

In his spare time Blaq Rose can be found producing music for established and upcoming artists, performing, writing and composing music.

WHO IS KWAME MAWUTO
